Danzeisen used to have a band called Powerslide, which we have a few copies left of on this site. This special CD-R, only available here, has 12 gorgeously penned pop tunes that flow gracefully and confidently over a Lennon-cum-Jason Falkner type groove while some material here has a rocking power pop guitar assault that is thrilling. It`s a combination that is a winning and working one. They choruses always have a hooky charm that buffs up the consistency of the appeal factor with all deliciously bruising songs here. "Bad Boy" brings Jellyfish "Bellybutton" echoes and an ambitious production flair for a homemade project. While "Left Me For A Girl" combines The Cars with Brendon Benson new wave pumping. "I Dream" has a dreamy Badfinger/late-era Beatles air that takes the listener to a sublimely place where only smiles exist and only movement is reaching for the remote to hit `repeat`.
